Innovative Stretch Ceiling Technology
Unsightly light fixtures, stucco, and popcorn ceilings are things of the past. Stretch ceiling technology allows residential and commercial property owners to transform their existing ceilings into modern, seamless ceilings.
What Is A Stretch Ceiling?
A stretch ceiling is made up of two main elements: lightweight aluminum profiles and a flexible, fire-resistant PVC membrane.
Aluminum profiles are installed in the drywall below the existing ceiling to make up a track system. The profiles create a perimeter track to hold the PVC membrane in place.
Next, the PVC membrane is stretched and installed on the profiles to form the ceiling. Heat is used to stretch and secure the PVC harpoon into the profiles. PVC stretches easily and can magically shrink back to its original form.
Installation is clean and quick, depending on the complexity of the design. The end result is a sleek, modern matte ceiling of your design.
